Hi Everyone,
So if you flow me on Twitter you’ve probably realized that I’ve been flowing the Olympics. The Olympics is something that I’ve always enjoyed. I’m not going to say that I anxiously wait for it to come every 4 years, but when it dose come I do enjoy it. Also I would like to congratulate Michel Phelps on his 19th gold medal, and Katie Ledecky on her gold meddle and the new world record.
The one thing that I’ve noticed with this years Olympics which I haven’t noticed in years past, is just how nice it is to see all of these different countries in a friendly competition. Like for instance an athlete from the US playing along side an athlete from Russia. I find this to be a much needed change of pace. It seems like every time you turn on the news you hear something about different countries living in fear of each other, but then when the Olympics comes around we can all be friends. Why can’t we love our neighbors all the time?
I’m not going to say anything else about this, but I’m going to end with a challenge. What if everybody on an individual biases treats everybody they meet with kindness despite the differences.
Best,
Wes
